Special Programming Bootcamp (20 seats for FREE) sponsored by Immigration NZ & ATEED

We have an exciting opportunity for international students who have recently completed qualifications in IT/ICT.

We are offering 20 spaces in a six-week boot camp programme with Industry Connect Ltd to help graduates learn some of the skills necessary to get work ready for employers and connect with some prospective employers. This programme is part of a pilot programme Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) and Education New Zealand are running to help international student graduates get into the workforce after their studies.

Successful applicants will receive mentoring from industry experts and employers, work on live projects for real software development companies and get the chance to meet actual employers in the market for new people.

Cost: Free, if you are one of the lucky ones selected (worth $1,500).

Dates: 30 May to 8th of July 6 weeks fulltime hours are from 10am to 4pm 5 days a week  for the duration of the course.

Venue: Eden Terrace

To be eligible you need to:

  • Be able to commit to attend the full duration of the course
  • Have completed study at NZQA Level 7 (or above) in a technology field and/or graduated with a Bachelors (or higher) Degree
  • Experienced computer programming during academic study and have an understanding of programming principles and coding syntax
  • Be a motivated learner with a strong desire to become a
    software developer or software tester.
